Last Thursday while our course was closed for renovations, a large group of our lady members travelled to Terrey Hills Par 3 now known as ‘Shortees’ for a fun day out.
Thirty-six holes were played by 42 ladies on a beautiful sunny day, being treated to champagne, juice, fruit and lollies half-way round by Wendy Hayter.
Chipping and putting competitions after golf organised by Janelle and Peta added to the fun on the day. Wendie Bailey and Sue MacDonald helped out on the putting green.
After Janelle made the presentation, most of the ladies headed off to Terrey Hills Tavern for lunch, drinks and socialising. Lots of lovely lucky door prizes handed out by Anne Tucker. All in all, a very good day organised so well by Wendy Hayter.
Congratulations to Edwina Jones, Jo Boreham and Claire Hajos team who won the Pitch N’ Putt event with a score of 397.
Congratulations to Mia Sherman, who had a great game which included a hole in one on the 10th hole. The ball landed just before the slightly elevated green, rolled up and went straight in the hole. Well done Mia!
