Course Update

This morning the course received 24mm of rain in just 30 minutes. Due to the intensity of the rain event within such a short period, the course experienced flooding on the 5th and 7th fairways, and most bunkers sustained damage. The flooding quickly subsided, however, there is still a significant amount of debris scattered across the course. Tomorrow, several local rules will be implemented depending on what the greens team can achieve today.

Please check with the Pro Shop when you book in for the Wednesday competition.

Bird Damage on Fairways

As you may have observed, Crows and Ibises have been digging up the fairways in search of curl grubs. Our Course Superintendent has applied a spray across all fairways to control these insects. Once the insect population is under control, the birds should cease their digging activities. If your ball comes to rest in or if you are standing in these affected areas, relief can be taken by moving the ball one club length, no nearer the hole.
