Today was the final of the women’s Singles Knock Out and after two very close matches we have some great results.
In Division 1, Jo Tebbutt, who played extremely well, won 3/2 against Kristine Bolton. Kris was ready for a quick game against our speedy Jo and she felt she played well but in the end Jo had the upper hand. Congratulations Jo on winning this well deserved trophy.
Our Division 2 finalists, Christine Egan and Emi Hewitt, battled it out to the 19th. The competition was very even and apparently very friendly, however Emi managed to find that extra spark and secure a win on the 19th. Well done Emi winning your first major trophy.
