New website is here! New Clubhouse still loading…

We’ve just launched our new MVGC website ahead of opening our Clubhouse doors this May. This is just the first of several upgrades we’ll be launching over the next month, including our MVGC App, Social Media accounts, and an improved E-news. These communication upgrades align with our 5-year Strategic Plan, addressing our key issue of needing enhanced communication channels. Our website was last upgraded in 2016, and since then not only has website usage changed but so too has our Clubhouse and our offering. We have built this new website to be more user-friendly, provide clearer paths of communication with our members and display what 2024 Mona Vale Golf Club has to offer to the wider community.

If you’ve visited our site in the last 24 hours, you might have encountered some hiccups; we appreciate your patience as we iron out these issues.

We understand that this new website may initially cause some confusion, so here are the basics for those who need guidance.

The new website will require that you log in with your member number and password.
If you have previously saved your details in your device, it will not auto-fill, therefore you will have to re-enter your login details. If you can not remember your password, firstly try the numbers for your day and month of your birthday. If this does not work, you will have to click ‘Forgotten your password?’ link and reset it. 

Our website URL is still www.mvgc.com.au This will take you to our new home page, see the below steps to learn how to login.

Members Homepage – Features

Our Members Homepage follows a very similar set-up as before, with our news articles functioning as per our old website. We have highlighted some areas as seen in the picture for further explanation.

1. This is the navigation panel for member-related items and actions. For example ‘My Information’ will take you to information that directly relates to you. These include; your personal details, your member account balances, your results, your bookings, playing partners and leaderboards.

2. Upcoming Events – Once our new Clubhouse is operating, all upcoming events will be displayed in this area.

3. Course Notice – We have added the daily course notice to the top of our Members Portal to ensure all members can easily find course updates.

4. Fixture Book – This new feature is one of the most important updates we have made to our new website. This gives members easy access to an updatable and searchable Fixture Book. This means there is no more page-by-page clicking through the digital Fixture Book or any need for a printed copy. In our next E-news, we will explain how to use this online Fixture Book and its main benefits.

5. If you would like to navigate back to the public website’s homepage at any point in time, all you have to do is click our logo in the top left corner.

Solutions to common website usage issues

  •  Any members who have pinned or bookmarked our old site to their web browser and/or added the website to their home screen may be having issues connecting to our new site. To fix this issue you will need to delete the bookmark and create a new bookmark. 
  • Members who have their login and password automatically saved in their web browser will have to log in again. If you can not remember your password, click the ‘forgotten your password?’ link to reset it. 
  • Lastly, if you are still having issues with website usage, please clear your cache. Click here to view instructions on how to do this. 

On a side note: Anyone who has an android phone and is trying to download our MVGC App from the Google Play Store, this is currently not possible. We apologise for the inconvenience, we are working hard to try and get our app back up on the store, however this may take a week or so.   After months of planning and organisation, we are excited to launch our new MVGC communication channels alongside our new Clubhouse to enhance your Mona Vale Golf Club member experience.
