Overcoming the challenges posed by the heavy rainfall in the first two weeks of May, Nick and his team have been working tirelessly to restore the course to our high standards. Simultaneously, they have made significant strides in the garden areas around our new clubhouse, which will be completed in the coming week. This May update covers the use of the Verti-drain over the Winter months, and Nick introduces us to Victor.
As Nick mentioned in his video, the Verti-drain will be out during the winter months spiking the fairways. This machine travels very slowly up and down the fairways and can be in the way of player’s shots. We have put in place a temporary local rule over the winter period to combat this issue.
