Last night, we hosted the Member’s Information Night in our Clubhouse, and we’d like to thank the 58 members who joined us. The evening began with our President outlining the final costings for the Clubhouse Project, which is now officially complete. With that behind us, we’re eager to focus on delivering an even better experience for our members, leveraging our newly improved venue.
Our Vice President, Louise Gillespie, presented the results of our recent member survey. Designed to guide us in making more informed, member-driven decisions, the survey highlighted key areas for improvement. We’ve already taken action on many of these items and have more in the pipeline, which were discussed during the evening. Each Board member also took time to reflect on the strategic plans from the past five years, sharing both accomplishments and areas where progress is ongoing. With most of our strategic goals achieved in our 2020-2025 plan, the Board is ready to move forward with a new five-year plan that builds on our successes, factors in items that we were unable to achieve in the last plan and introduces new actions tailored to the club’s current needs. Last night’s meeting gave a high-level overview of this new 2025-2030 strategic plan.
