At 8am this morning MVGC was hit by another freak storm, 42 mm of rain fell in fifteen minutes, which included hail. The course went under water very quickly and will not recover for at least a few days.
Nick and his team will assess the damage tomorrow and we will update the members as soon as we know more.
The course will remain closed until further notice.
With all this wet weather, we know you’ve been missing not just the golf but also the social interactions. So, why not swing by the Club anyway?
Even if golf is canceled, you can still hang out with your mates for a drink and some lunch.
The silver lining to having golf canceled is that now you have a free day. We’d love for you to come support the club—we’re open rain, hail, or shine.
