Clubhouse Update – Changes to Café Service

As we near the end of our first three months in the new Clubhouse, I want to thank you for your patience and support as we’ve settled into the new space and operations. Your feedback has been incredibly positive, and it’s clear that the early opening hours of the café have been a hit with coffee lovers!

We’ve carefully reviewed the Member Surveys and are already implementing new processes based on the feedback we received, with the goal of enhancing the member experience as quickly as possible. These improvements will be in place ahead of the Member Information Night on 14th October, where we will still discuss the full survey result.

Key Updates: 

Enhancements to Café Service

We’ve heard your feedback about the café trading hours and offerings. To increase the current offering , we are excited to introduce dinner service starting the long weekend in October (Friday 4th October). You can enjoy an evening meal on our fabulous deck from Thursday to Sunday until 8 pm.

New Ordering System Trial

We understand that the current food ordering process can be cumbersome due to multiple steps and occasional issues with the membership accounting system. To streamline this, we will be trialling a new Point of Sale System starting Friday October 4th . Our intent is to reduce wait times at the Café, increase golfer access to quick food options when making a short pit stop in the Clubhouse and simplify member transactions.

Here’s what to expect:

  •  Simplified Ordering
    Place your order at the Café, identify yourself as a member to receive a 10% discount, and pay with your preferred method-either credit/eftpos card or cash. (Membership accounts will no longer be accessible for use at the Café)
  • “Grab and Go” Terminal
    A dedicated terminal will be available for those who need a quick snack while on the course, minimising wait times. Payments for these items will be made at the cafe with either credit/eftpos card or cash.
  • Membership Accounts
    Your House Account/Top Up facilities and Prize Accounts are still available for use only at the Bar.
    The Café will no longer be able to use money from these accounts. To be clear, you will still receive your member’s discount of 10% when purchasing from the Café.
