The 5th Hole – Par 5

Hole number five is a long and challenging par 5 just on 505 metres for men and 385 for ladies in length.  A dogleg you will only have to worry about on your second or third shot. Do not take to much over the corner, the trees are higher on the other side and often get caught up.   A fairly easy par 5 for women.  It’s important to hit your drive down the right side of the fairway which gives you a fairly short shot around the corner to get in place for your approach shot.

The dance floor is tiny for such a long hole, so you’ll need to be spot on.  Remember that the front of the green runs steeply back to front, so be up at the pin.

PRO TIP:
Dog leg can only be taken on after a very long drive so lay up just past the corner, for a short iron into the green. Be up! Green slopes dramatically at front and will stop any under hit shot.
